This Privacy Policy explains how ClipMix ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use clipmix.ai. We aim to collect only what we need to run the service.

1. Information we collect

• Account data — your email address and authentication details.
• Content — the prompts you submit and the videos and images you generate.
• Usage data — credits spent, generation history, and basic logs needed to operate, secure and debug the service.
• Payment data — handled by our payment processor. We receive transaction status and plan details, not your full card number.

2. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the service — running generations and delivering your library.
• To manage credits, plans, billing and refunds.
• To secure the service, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
• To communicate with you about your account (e.g. confirmations, password resets, and important notices).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your prompts or outputs to train AI models.

3. Sharing & sub-processors

We share data only with service providers that help us run ClipMix, including:

• cloud hosting and database providers;
• object storage / CDN for delivering your generated media;
• the third-party AI model providers that generate your content (your prompt is sent to them to produce the output);
• a payment processor for subscriptions and credit purchases;
• an email provider for transactional messages;
• advertising and analytics partners (such as Meta) that help us measure the performance of our ads and reach new customers, where advertising is enabled.

These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information where required by law.

4. Retention

We keep your account data and generated content while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can delete generations from your library, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements).

5. Your rights

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies & advertising

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the service. Where advertising is enabled, we and our advertising partners (such as Meta) may also use a marketing pixel and associated cookies to measure the effectiveness of our ads, understand which visits lead to sign-ups or purchases, and show relevant ads. This may involve sharing limited, hashed identifiers (for example a hashed email) with those partners to match conversions. You can control this through your browser settings and the ad-preference controls offered by those partners.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Children

ClipMix is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
